Vincent D'Onofrio made a short film titled Five Minutes Mr Welles. It played on the film festival circuit, debuting at the Venice Film Festival in 2004.

I found this short film on Youtube. Not only is Vincent D'Onofrio a talented actor, but it seems that he works behind the scenes as a producer-director as well.

That must be why he was crowned King Dong in September 2008. There has not been another King Dong since. Therefore, I am officially letting him reign for the 2009 season. That is until April at least. So, we might as well titled Vincent D'Onofrio as the King Dong of Fall 2008 and Winter 2009.

Time for the battle:
Did you know that famous director George Lucas made a short film before Star Wars became popular? Slashfilm reported that his USC Thesis film, A Man and His Car was made in 1966 and tells the story of a race car driver. The short film is almost 10 minutes long and stars Peter Brock, a racing legend in the motor sports industry. You can check out what George Lucas was up to in the 60's by watching this short film on Youtube.

Then come back and compare the two movies.

Who would win in a creative battle, George Lucas or Vincent D'Onofrio? Leave your Comments Below.
