Brokeback Mountain Sequel, starring Duane Martin?
UPDATE as of October 2007: Any talk about actors Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell getting a divorce is False. Any talk about Duane Martin being homosexual is also false. Therefore anything that you may hear or read in the future on any website, tv program, tabloid or gossip column that is in relation to any of these RUMORS should be viewed as false information. Whoever put these lies out in the first place was not telling the truth.
Therefore, if you are still interested in reading what was put out earlier this year, so be it. Just keep in mind that it is NOT TRUE and it seems that people have taken this way out of hand. You can read more about the truth and the lies HERE.
Old Post from 8/15/07:It has been reported that Hollywood actor Duane Martin and his wife, actress Tisha Campbell-Martin are getting a divorce. This is the result of a two year love affair that Duane Martin has been involved with. Why that surprises me, the additional details of this affair is even more shocking. Duane Martin's affair was with another man. However, he and Tisha Campbell have children together. Go figure. It is a shame that their marriage is ending this way. They are both talented actors. Hopefully, they will both get through this rough time and continue with their careers and raising their children by way of a mutual parenting agreement.
What I cannot seem to understand is why Duane Martin would get married to a woman in the first place, if he is gay. That seems like that is a waste of time for both he and Tisha Campbell, who could have married a heterosexual male instead. This newly discovered side of Duane Martin however, could open up doors for additional movie roles for the actor that he may not have obtained otherwise. Maybe it could even land him a guest role on South Park as they discuss issues surrounding the LGBT community. He could also co-host the "In Bed with Butch" show on WYBE in Philadelphia.
No matter what happens to boost his public image and acting career, Duane Martin
may want to figure out how this is going to affect the children that he shares with Tisha Campbell. How is his "coming out" also going to affect Tisha Campbell, who has been through enough drama within the last few decades or so.

mrshill,
I was given this information by someone via the Daily News or Metro (I totally forgot which one, as I do not collect newspapers)
I have recently heard that this is a rumor and if so, that is good to hear. If someone put this out for the purpose of harming his image, that is a shame.
Thanks for commenting!
seymour,
I posted this when I received the information about it. I checked the URL that you sent, and that message was posted on Thursday August 9th. I received this information about the divorce almost one week prior to that.
The Madlab Post included a "reported" set of information about Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell, following my thoughts on the matter. If this is indeed a rumor, it looks like fans will find out in the next issues of Sister to Sister.
Thanks for commenting and sending the url.
I think Duane Martin is gay. Look at how he wears his clothes: tight shirts and pants and those looks he gives out. The eyes tell it all. And why on earth would he leave his beautiful wife and kids without it being something going on somewhere. If he's not gay then why?
Why does someone being gay seem to cause so much controversy? It's really none of our business what happens in another person's bedroom. Likely this story is not true, but even if it is, so? I am so sick of people and their gay and bi inferances; why can't we just allow each other to live our lives as we choose and mind our own darn....business. I am a middle age white female with many friends who have alternative lifestyles and most of them lead spectacular lives with partners. I say live and let live.
why is it an issue if the male is "gay" but not an issue if the female is lesbian or bi? Such biased, sexist statements further keep males on the "DL". This type of hype must stop if there is to be true gender equality. Whether the man is socalled 'gay' or not should not be an issue. Their marriage is their business. You either like their work as artists or you don't. Stay out of their bedroom(s) and keep your mind on the screen, if you "love" TV so much!
