Monday, March 10, 2008 at 8:02PM Actor Martin Sheen will be honored by The University of Notre Dame at the school's commencement on May 18, 2008. The University's Laetare Medal will be given to Martin Sheen for his humanitarian work. While playing the President on NBC's West Wing TV show, his character was a graduate of Notre Dame.
