What Movie Fans thought of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Movie fans like those in this photo at Universal Citywalk AMC Cinemas in Los Angeles are among many people who have already made quick reactions to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Just a day after the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Us Weekly has been conducting a poll to find out "What did you think of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and the results were surprising. Here is what I found after voting on the poll for this Transformers 2 movie.
Out of 14,233 votes on three different thoughts (and counting, since I don't know how long Us Weekly will be running this poll), 25.92% of movie fans "Loved" Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen while 6.71% of movie fans "Hated it". A whopping 67.37% of people have not seen this movie yet. This part of the Us Weekly poll was the most surprising to me because there was a lot of anticipation for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and it's the summertime now so I would think that many people flocked to theaters when this movie released. Then again, many of you may be waiting to check out Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this weekend. My guess is that movie fans who have not seen Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen are either procrastinating, are not interested in action movies or prefer to rent this film on DVD.

6/27/09 UPDATE: A total of 19,678 votes are now in 3 days following the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This is only a small increase from yesterday but a large increase from Thursday, the day after Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit theaters. Of these 19678 votes, 25.52% loved this movie and 11.95% hated it. The percentage of those who hated this Transformers 2 movie is down a little bit from yesterday, which is good I suppose. 62.53% of overall voters have not seen Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
6/26/09 UPDATE: Now that it's 2 days after Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released, the total votes on this poll have increased to 19,518 votes, with 25.54% of movie fans who loved this flick, 12.03% who hated it and still even more people who have not seen it yet, taking up 62.43% of the poll.

pretty plotless, not funny, waste of 11 dollars not to mention 2 and a half hours of my life i cannot get back.. didnt live up to its hype
Anonymous comments are not the type of feedback that warrants a response, but thank you for your feedback on Transformers 2. I didn't check out the first one and haven't checked this one out yet so I'm not sure if one is better than the other.
My sons have been asking to see Transformers 2, but we haven't gone yet. I read an interview with some of the cast, and they actually sounded so unenthusiastic about the film that it soured my desire to see it. If we have a rainy day we'll go, otherwise we might be waiting for it on DVD.
Tina, you have some good options there. What kind of actors are unenthusiastic about their own movie? That is suspect and if I read that same interview, I would probably be considering some alternative options like DVD like you too.
If the actors and other movie staff are not placing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in the best light, then why should movie goers have high hopes for the film? I'm sorry to find out that this particular interview caused you to think twice about checking Transformers 2 out, but maybe someone that you know may see it and give you their review from an audience perspective.
If I was in the Transformers movie, I would probably be doing interviews like "This is the best movie ever and everyone should go out and see it twice!". LOL
I hope the boys get to check it out eventually, no matter which way you all choose to see it. When you do...I'd love to find out what your reactions are so don't be shy and come back to this post and let us know if it was good or not in your opinion.
