A Hollywood Awarded Mother's Day Greeting Card
If you plan on giving Mother, Mother-In-Law or Godmother one of those Mother's Day cards that are blank inside but you are still trying to find a sentiment, look no further. Here is a Mother's Day greeting card that I wrote for today's Writercize that you can use.....if your mother is a movie fan. Heck, you can still use it even if she isn't a movie fan.
Dear Mom,
You deserve an Oscar for "Best Cook" in a leading role,
a Golden Globe for "Best Appearance" at my games,
An Emmy for your "Outstanding made for Television" level of home decorating style and social etiquette
and....
A Razzie for "Worst Attempt at Matchmaking"!
Please stop trying to arrange blind dates for me with every person of the opposite sex that you meet at the grocery store, church and your office parties.
There you have it. Maybe it will get you a good laugh from your mother!

Haha...Very good Mother's Day card idea! My daughter (15) said she's giving me money this year??? She's too busy getting ready for a couple projects and finals to go shopping. I find it really funny that she's going to give me money...
Sharon,
I find it funny as well. Sounds like you have a great daughter though. I don't know any teenager who would give their parent's money on any holiday or occasion. That surely beats gift cards if you're one o0f those parents who dread receiving gift cards to places that you rarely visit, lol.
Some parents receive several gift cards for Christmas, etc; and then force themselves to shop at certain places that he normally wouldn't go to, just so that they can use the gift cards before they expire.
That's quite a creative idea, Nicole I could give it to my daughter and I'm sure she'd have tons of funs with it ;-)
Anyes,
Thank you. I hope you can find it useful and if your daughter has some fun with it, let me know how it all turns out!
Haha - funny!
